DIVERSIFICATION
TNT has diversified its existing product line to maintain a leading edge within the information technology arena. Being in an industry with heavyweight competitors, TNT has delved into the fiber optics market. Given the changing trends within the networking industry, today’s copper wiring will eventually be a thing of the past. Having expanded with a factory in China, TNT increased its fiber production and inventory to meet and exceed the current industry demands for quality fiber optics. In November of 1999, TNT launched a sheet-metal fabrication shop, TNT Precision Fabrication, Inc.
